Heat wave-what heatwave?
Posted by Alan Singleton on
The watersaver gardens got a good test over the last couple of days with temperatures of 39 and 40 degrees. Yes the plants looked a bit tired in the middle of those days but as you can see next morning they are back to normal. That's with no water since before we went to Melbourne on the 29th December. Don't forget we sell purpose built canopy frames for our gardens if you prefer to have shade cloth over your garden.

Video of canopy frame assembley
Posted by Alan Singleton on
I have designed a canopy frame for my gardens. It is suitable for covering with shade cloth, fruit fly and frost cover. I use a fine nylon bird mesh to keep out the cabbage moth. it also works well stopping dogs and possums playing havoc with your garden. If you are interested in retro fitting a canopy frame have a look at the video. Of course I can drill the required holes and forward a cover with any new purchase. CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY
Posted by Alan Singleton on
I am giving away two Pop-up gardens before Christmas through my Facebook page. If you don’t need another garden it would make a great gift for someone you know. All you have to do write a post on the Watersaver Facebook page telling me why you purchased, or would like to buy, a Watersaver Garden. One garden will be given away to the post that gets the most ‘likes’ (so tell your friends to like it!) and another will go to the post that I think is the best. This is my first promotion so I don’t imagine there will...
BRISBANE VISIT
Posted by Alan Singleton on
On the 14th of December I'll be braving the range and heading to the big city (Brisbane). If you're around Brisbane west/north side area and would like a quote or advice on which Watersaver garden will be best for you, contact me on 0424 996 540 and I might be able to drop by. On Sunday I will have a stall at the Bardon Christmas Markets (69 Bowman Parade, Bardon). I will have some great specials and by picking a garden up there you avoid freight costs. There are a lot of stalls there this year and all from local business...
ELAINE'S A HAPPY CUSTOMER-BIT OF HARD WORK NEVER HURT ANYONE
Posted by Alan Singleton on
Elaine put a post on Brisbane Local Food providing a lot of detail on how she put some of my gardens together. I gather she is one of my more mature customers but is certainly young at heart and not scared of a bit of work. I would love to meet up with her sometime, she sounds like a very interesting lady.
