Beautiful Ballandean on the Granite Belt
Posted by Alan Singleton on
I just finished installing ten gardens (each three metres long!) for Melissa and Warren at Washpool Farm Soaperie. They all have frames for cover such as frost, theres a surprise, bird netting and fruit fly mesh. Four are actual greenhouses. I was very impressed with Melissa's products (and constant supply of coffee). So if you are down that way definitely worth a look. You can also check out her Facebook page and order online: you won't be disappointed. I did have some help Four Greenhouses to get a head start with planting Finished!

Bamboo Curtain Comes To Toowoomba
Posted by Alan Singleton on
Pam has a fairly ordinary view of a caravan park from her courtyard so she has put in some Watersaver Gardens with Bamboo which will form a very attractive screen without taking up much room at all.

Bearting The Heat In Brisbane
Posted by Henry Singleton on
Marcus chose Watersaver Gardens because they can cope with the intense heat generated by the concrete and full sun on his rooftop deck in Newfarm. Getting the soil and chip up there was a major issue but with some strong volunteers and expert assistance from Roman (see http://spurtopia.blogspot.com.au) we got the job done ahead of schedule. Instead of trying to keep plants alive by watering every day Marcus now only has to check the water level via the entry pipes once a month.

ELAINE'S A HAPPY CUSTOMER-BIT OF HARD WORK NEVER HURT ANYONE
Posted by Alan Singleton on
Elaine put a post on Brisbane Local Food providing a lot of detail on how she put some of my gardens together. I gather she is one of my more mature customers but is certainly young at heart and not scared of a bit of work. I would love to meet up with her sometime, she sounds like a very interesting lady.
