A couple of shots just to show what's happening in the garden. Beans and more beans Chilli, Basil, Tomato etc These have really taken off-shows the size of what will grow in the gardens Snake beans. Have not eaten any as yet, will be interesting to see how they taste compared to the ones we have been buying.

The Leafmore Garden Society is paying me a visit this Sunday. I will be talking about how to drastically cut back on water use and still have fantastic flowering and vege gardens. I will also be explaining how to instal an open-wick system on citrus & stone fruit trees that makes them practically maintenance free. I have one set up which is working a treat. New Product: The Balcony

For the balcony and other small areas or just to have herbs handy outside the back door. The Balcony is 60 cm x 40 cm. It comes with wood chip, pervious mat, inspection/fill pipe and overflow tap. All that is required is 40 litres of quality soil/potting mix rich in organic matter/compost. The tap ensures no water is spilt so this Watersaver Garden can go anywhere.
