Made a Thai curry yesterday, I was able to get everything from my gardens except the shrimp paste-still working on that. Shopping list I was able to pluck totally from my Watersaver gardens: ginger, garlic, galangal, coriander, lemongrass and chillies. Also have a lime tree for the required lime peel. Obviously saves money but also much more convenient than heading to the shops for lack lustre weeks old product.
